Metro Ontario Inc. Makes An Acquisition
TORONTO - Metro Ontario Inc., a subsidiary of Metro Inc., is bringing a new name into its family. The company has acquired the pharmacy business including prescription files from seven Zellers pharmacies in Ontario, according to a press release. Metro is guaranteeing that it will offer continued care for Zellers’ pharmacy customers through the transition process.
The recent acquisition includes Zellers pharmacies in Hamilton, London, Mississauga, Sudbury, Collingwood, as well as two in Brampton. Zellers’ pharmacy customers can expect the same caring, passionate and engaged employees from Metro as well as a wide range of products and services from Metro and Food Basics bannered stores and pharmacies.
