Nature Fresh Farms™ Details Southern Innovations Showcase; Zanelle Hough Comments

ONTARIO, CANADA - Nature Fresh Farms™ is almost red-y to step foot on the Southern Innovations show floor. At the upcoming Southeastern Produce Council (SEPC) event, the greenhouse grower will be showing off two of its newest products: Organic Greenhouse Berries strawberries and Hiiros tomatoes.

Zanelle Hough, Director of Sales, Nature Fresh Farms™“We will be continuing to focus on the upcoming in-market launch of North America’s first Organic Greenhouse Grown Strawberry!” Zanelle Hough, Director of Sales, told me. “With our Organic Greenhouse Berries slated for market launch in just a couple of months, our team is focused on connecting with our customers and providing them a consistent, reliable supply of organic strawberries as the field supplies diminish.”

In addition to this exciting fruit offering, Nature Fresh will be showing off its new Hiiros tomatoes.

“The success of our Hiiros tomatoes continues to escalate. A variety that offers a rich umami flavor with a distinguishing level of sweetness, Hiiros has a depth and complexity of flavor that consumers are gravitating toward. Paired with their exquisite scarlet red coloring, Hiiros are easily merchandised and quickly becoming a favorite amongst retailers,” Zanelle relayed.

The company’s focus for Southern Innovations is to elevate, enhance, and evolve the categories it supports. This year, Nature Fresh will be highlighting greenhouse innovation and the ability to provide higher flavor and higher-quality produce year-round, all while doing so sustainability and with long-term food security in mind.

“With the smaller scale and more intimate nature of this show, it’s an opportunity to have more in-depth, one-on-one conversations,” Zanelle stated. “It gives the opportunity for all attendees to take a step back and truly have an opportunity to view, discuss, and consider the innovation we as an industry are bringing to our sector, and how it is also paving the way for change across other sectors outside of our immediate scope.”

Zanelle continued, adding, “We want attendees to walk away from our booth knowing we’re focused on them. From customers to consumers, we’re focused on delivering sustainably greenhouse-grown fresh produce year-round that is consistently flavorful and of the highest quality.”

In addition to its new strawberries and tomatoes, Nature Fresh has another product debut in store. The grower will be launching a pepper category innovation at another upcoming event in October.

“Innovation within the pepper category is few and far between; however, we have our sights set on being a disruptor in the category,” Zanelle divulged. “We aren’t sharing product details just yet, but will tell you that we will be introducing one of the best-tasting innovations in the pepper category very soon.”

The Nature Fresh Farms team will be at booth #500 during the SEPC Southern Innovations trade show, so be sure to stop by!
