LEAMINGTON, ONTARIO, CANADA - The PAC Global Awards seeks out the best of the best in packaging design. Nature Fresh Farms® was honored at this year’s competition, receiving Best in Class for HallowYoom® and an Award of Distinction for Organic Greenhouse Berries™ in the Package Innovation Design – Labels category.

For its award-winning HallowYoom label, Nature Fresh Farms’ design team put a seasonal Halloween spin on the company’s Yoom® tomato. The Yoom was transformed into a Halloween enthusiast’s delight, a press release noted.

Celebrating this two-bite tomato’s unique black color and eerie-sistible flavor, the design team leaned into the Halloween season on the label, showcasing Halloween-inspired recipes and language that wowed on the shelf and enticed consumer purchases.

“Enticing consumers to pick up your product is the first step to ensuring any product’s success; and more often than not, what entices a consumer to pick up your product is the packaging,” continued Quiring. “We invest in marketing strategies that lend themselves to exciting packaging and approachable language on pack that drive consumer trial, because while we know we can gain consumer loyalty and repeat purchase with the flavor our products offer, we first have to get our products into the hands of consumers, and packaging helps us do that.”

Part of the brilliance of the Organic Greenhouse Berries design is that it showcases communication excellence on the pack. The elegant utilization of icons and text to highlight the benefits of greenhouse-grown berries to shoppers is simple and engaging while simultaneously showcasing product quality.

As it continues to nourish people and sustain the future, Nature Fresh Farms is bringing superior marketing efforts to the fore.
