Pat Hynes to Retire From Darden Restaurants

Pat Hynes, Senior Director, Purchasing, has made the decision to retire from Darden Restaurants, Inc. With more than 13 years of service with Darden, Mr. Hynes has contributed greatly to the achievements of the company in the Produce, Capital Equipment and Smallwares businesses.
His insights and approach have allowed Darden superior economic growth, a strong influence in terms of worker retention along with housing and fair treatment programs. The Nourish and Delight program was launched to assure food safety, social responsibility and stability of supply with the assistance of Mr. Hynes.
Mr. Hynes has engaged in roles on professional boards that include the Produce Marketing Association. He has also served on leadership committees with North American Food Equipment Manufacturers. Mr. Hynes retirement will be effective February 1, 2013.
