Schnuck Markets Names Jada D. Reese as Chief People Officer; Todd Schnuck Shares
St. LOUIS, MO - Whether its buyers, consumers, or associates, people are an integral part of the retail sector. In order to ensure that its people are taken care of, Schuck Markets has named Jada D. Reese as its new Chief People Officer, effective January 30.
In this position, Reese will lead the Human Resources team, a release explained. She will oversee department functions including teammate recruitment; retention; labor relations; training and development; diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts; and culture and values integration.
Additionally, Reese will become a member of the retailer’s Strategy Team, a 10-person team of executives assigned to lead the overall direction and execution of the company.
She brings to Schnucks 26 years of professional experience, including human resources leadership roles at BJC Healthcare, Express Scripts, and Anheuser-Busch. Most recently, she held the role of Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Enterprise Bank & Trust.
Throughout her career, Reese has led key human resources initiatives at major St. Louis companies, including ideating and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies; overseeing mergers and acquisitions integrations; developing employee recruitment and retention programs; leveraging thought leadership activities; and instituting change management programs.
