YAKIMA, WA - As the leaves begin to change around us and the air turns crisp, so begins the Autumn Glory® apple harvest. Superfresh Growers®’ juicy apple variety with notes of caramel and cinnamon weaving their way through each crisp bite make this apple the perfect fall treat.

“The caramel, sweet, and cinnamon notes are very prominent this year,” explained Dave Gleason, Horticulturist and Proprietary Variety Developer. “We were tasting the flavors even earlier this year, a sign that we have a great crop headed our way.”

Superfresh Growers owns the Autumn glory apple, holding the exclusive worldwide rights to grow and sell the variety, according to a press release.

The grower plans on not only nationwide programs this year, but exporting the delicious apple variety to Asia, Canada, Mexico, and the Middle East.

“Autumn Glory apple now has an international presence, and worldwide consumers are following American trends of anticipating fall as the beginning of Autumn Glory apple season,” said Jeff Webb, Director of International Business.

The Autumn Glory will be supported by a full market program that will continue the 2019 marketing momentum that the variety received following placement in in Thrive Magazine, Country Living online, and Men’s Health.

“The momentum around Autumn Glory apple continues to build every year,” added Catherine Gipe-Stewart, Communication Manager.

The Autumn Glory variety is now available, and will continue through June of next year. As the apple continues to become more popular and increase in volume, supplies will eventually be available year-round.
