USDA Bars Three More Companies from the Industry
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has barred another three PACA violators from operating in the industry.
Pablo Cruz, doing business as Cruz Produce, operating out of Rosemead, Ca has failed to pay a $1,854 award in favor of a California seller. As a result, it may no longer operate in the produce industry. Cruz was listed as the sole proprietor of the business.
Stevens Point, Wi-based Spud City Sales LLC, for failing to pay a $7,560 award in favor of a Texas seller. Thomas J. Lundgren was listed as a member of the business.
The Alphas Company of New York Inc., operating out of Bronx, N.Y., neglected to pay a $37,765 award in favor of a Florida seller. Peter S. Alphas was listed as the officer, director, and major stockholder of the business.
