The Wonderful Company, one of the nation’s fastest growing consumer packaged goods companies, will increase its minimum wage to $15/hour for full-time employees in California

Not only will this result in a 36% jump in pay for employees making the previous standard minimum wage, but it is also the largest pay increase in company history. The company has raised wages three years before California state law will require all large employers to meet the new $15 per hour minimum wage.

Lynda Resnick, Co-Owner and Vice Chair, The Wonderful Company (Source: The Aspen Institute)“This substantial investment in our workers will have an immediate and meaningful impact on their lives,” said Lynda Resnick, Vice Chair and Co-Owner of The Wonderful Company. “In addition to providing our Central Valley employees and their families free health care and education, we are now able to help them achieve a significantly improved standard of living.”

As Lynda mentions, the wage increase also represents an $80 million investment that will benefit workers across the entire company, including: Wonderful Citrus, Wonderful Pistachios & Almonds, Wonderful Orchards, Wonderful Nurseries, POM Wonderful, JUSTIN Wines, and Landmark Wines.
