Trader Joe's, Publix, Costco, and Sprouts Farmers Market also topped the list.
Notably, Whole Foods Market scored high in all categories besides Prices. Yet, in many cases these higher prices are the result of items being organic, fair trade, or exotic.
When it comes to consumer satisfaction, there is definitely room for improvement. The report showed that 56% of survey respondents had at least one complaint about their current supermarket.
In many cases, markets tied with the same score, or were within one or two points from their competitors. The participation and methodology of this survey undoubtedly made all the difference.
Congratulations to Wegmans, Trader Joe's, Publix, and Sprouts on their top consumer ratings.
