Produce Monkey Initiates Limited Launch of Online Produce Marketing Tool
Developers from start-up venture ProduceMonkey.com are announcing that all pre-registered account holders will now be able to log in to its new produce marketing tool.
"We will be contacting a select group of pre-registered account holders from a diverse level of produce marketing backgrounds to test the functionality as well as the many time saving tools Produce Monkey has to offer," said Founder and CEO Ben Silva. "Users will be able to communicate more efficiently with their buyers, sellers, growers, and logistics while in the office. They will also be able to actually create an order transaction on the go, making this the most time saving and convenient tool in the market."
Produce Monkey is said to have many effective tools needed for today's top produce professionals. One interesting feature besides the transaction capabilities is the Real-Time Online Ticker that offers pricing updates and changes, marketing trends, historical data, and more.
"As a Blue Book Registered Developer, Produce Monkey has developed a real time integration with Blue Book Services, allowing Produce Monkey users to quickly assess the current Blue Book rating of other users," says Mark Erickson, Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Blue Book Services.
A social media component is also said to allow growers, packers and shippers to quickly and efficiently interact and move product.
The Produce Monkey smartphone app is currently available for both iPhone and Android platforms. The currently available app does not yet have most of the capabilities claimed by the company, as the full capabilities are currently only available to a select group during this specific phase of the development.
