Mann Packing Welcomes Jeff Freeman, VP of Retail Sales
Mann Packing has welcomed a new face to the team. Jeff Freeman joins Mann as the new Vice President of Retail Sales.
“Jeff is a proven senior executive with a record of accomplishment in competitive business segments,” said Lorri A. Koster, Mann Packing chairman and CEO. “We’re looking forward to having him on board as we continue to grow through channel and customer expansion and new product development.”Before joining Mann Packing, Freeman was the President and CEO of The Fizzy Fruit Company, a company that developed and patented processes that allows for the carbonation of whole, segmented or cut fruit products located in Hong Kong, according to a press release.
“I’m looking forward to the challenge of joining the Mann team and being part of this fast-growing segment of the fresh food industry,” Freeman said.
Prior to his position as CEO of The Fizzy Fruit Company, he was responsible for the North American subsidiary of Borges Mediterranean Group, a Spanish based grower/processor/marketer of Mediterranean food products located in Fresno, Calif.
Freeman has also held senior positions at three California food and beverage companies: Tetley USA, Inc., Mariani Company, Inc., and Premier Valley Foods, Inc. Freeman is a graduate of California State University, San Diego; he and his family are relocating to the Salinas area.
