In a response to the changing landscape due to COVID-19, which shuttered bars and restaurants across the country, Jones quickly switched his business model within 24 hours to home delivery in order to maintain the farm’s livelihood, from its array of versatile and sustainable produce, to its 150 employees who tend to the field. Consumers across the country can now enjoy and cook the notable farm’s array of seasonal, healthful and beautiful vegetables—a rainbow of possibilities.
“This seemed like a natural pivot for us, in a time of dire need, to get safe and healthy veggies direct from the farm to people’s front porches,” said Jones. “It’s also critical on the farm for our team at The Chef’s Garden and the survival of the family farm, and we knew we could do something to help those who are looking for a choice.”
