Allen Lund Promotes Mason Cannon to Operations Manager
Allen Lund is promoting Mason Cannon to Operations Manager of the Richmond office. Mason will be working closely with sales, helping to transition additional freight into the Richmond office. He will also be supporting brokers in the office by mentoring them with rate negotiations and fostering carrier relations, according to a press release.
Mason’s background includes courier and air freight. He began his career with the Allen Lund Company as a transportation broker in the Richmond office in 2005. “After serving ALC as a broker for the past 8 years, I am excited to now offer a broader contribution that will help our Richmond office, as well as the entire company, continue to prosper,” said Mason.
“Mason is the consummate team player and has been a leader in our office since the day he came to work here 8 years ago,” said Gerald Ebert, Manager of the Richmond office. “He will be instrumental in our growth now and long into the future.” Eddie Lund, Vice President of Sales and Branch Operations, is confident that Mason’s great work ethic and mastery of the fundamentals will serve him greatly as he takes on more leadership roles as operations manager.
