Strengthening the supplier’s ability to expand its varietal mix and enhance overall quality for the end consumer, the strategic acquisition increases BelleHarvest’s growing and storage capacity by 20 percent. Increased acreage, packinghouse operations, and storage capacity has been added to the BelleHarvest organization through the acquisition, bolstering its access to popular high-flavor varieties such as Honeycrisp, Gala, EverCrisp®, and SweeTango, alongside traditional varieties.

As the company explained in a press release, this move also reinforces the provider’s position as one of the top premium-quality apple grower-shippers in Michigan.
