Bolthouse Fresh Foods™ Kim St George Discusses New Organic Additions In Lead-Up to OPS 2026
BAKERSFIELD, CA - Leveraging the positive atmosphere of Organic Produce Summit (OPS) and its ability to gather organic retail and foodservice buyers from across North America, Bolthouse Fresh Foods™ is particularly excited to head to Monterey, California, with several new organic products.
"We have two exciting new additions to our organic lineup this year," Kim St George, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, shares. "First, our new Organic Carrot Snack Packs, which are available in both traditional Organic Baby Carrots and Organic Rainbow Baby Carrots. Second, we're preparing for the September launch of our new Organic Side Dish Sizzlers. We're excited to show customers how these products can help bring versatility to the organic vegetable set."
Together, the two launches are designed to help retailers tap into growing interest in produce-based snacking and value-added vegetables. Attendees at OPS will have the opportunity to sample the new Organic Carrot Snack Packs, while learning more about Organic Side Dish Sizzlers, a value-added offering that pairs organic rainbow crinkle carrots with chef-inspired sauces.
"We're focused on creating products that fit naturally into today's lifestyles while helping retailers and foodservice operators grow the organic produce category. Attendees can stop by our booth to sample Bolthouse Fresh® Organic Carrot Snack Packs and learn more about Organic Side Dish Sizzlers, both of which reflect our focus on expanding how and where consumers use organic carrots," Kim explains.
She shares that organic continues to be an important focus for Bolthouse Fresh, which operates a year-round organic carrot program with one of the broadest organic carrot portfolios in the category, spanning everything from everyday staples to more differentiated offerings.
"The new products we're bringing this year are aimed at giving shoppers more reasons to buy, whether that's for snacking, lunchboxes, or easy weeknight sides. For retailers, it creates opportunities to add excitement to the category and drive incremental sales," she points out. "We're committed to continuing to build programs that support long-term growth for both our customers and the category."
But while Kim and the team are excited to showcase their innovation and newest organic carrot offerings, she shares that though the organic label matters, it's not enough on its own anymore.
"Consumers are placing just as much value on convenience and versatility as they are on the organic claim itself. The two trends we're watching most closely are produce-based snacking and the demand for value-added vegetables. Both point to the same underlying shift. Consumers still want fresh, organic products, but they're looking for options that make life a little easier. That's shaping many of the products we're bringing to market and where we see opportunity in the category moving forward," she states.
Bolthouse Fresh will be there and ready to engage at booth #817. Meet the team and a full line of organic carrots, including the latest innovations from the company's Salinas Valley organic carrot program, in Monterey, California, July 13–16.
