Calpine Containers Appoints Sean Gallagher as Chief Executive Officer; Walt Tindell Comments
CLOVIS, CA - A new Chief Executive Officer is set to take the reins at Calpine Containers. Sean Gallagher will succeed Walt Tindell as CEO; Tindell intends to retire at the end of this year.

Gallagher brings a wealth of leadership experience built over almost two decades in the packaging and distribution industries, a press release explained. He previously worked for Saxco International as a Senior Vice President and General Manager, where he led a transformative change in the company’s Western business that resulted in successive years of double-digit growth.
Prior to Saxco, Gallagher was the Vice President of Wine Sales with Owens-Illinois. The beginning of his career started with E&J Gallo, where he gained experience leading sales teams in the Sacramento and San Francisco, California, regions. He has a Bachelor of Science from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and a Master of Business from the Haas School at the University of California - Berkeley.
