Del Monte Fresh Produce is announcing the expansion of a second greenhouse project now underway in Buenos Aires, Costa Rica. The project features 17 hydroponic greenhouses, spanning 25 acres, as well as a packing house and other state-of-the-art facilities projected for completion in the first week of December 2011 with the first harvest set for February 2012.
