PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI - Keeping its growth momentum going, Good Foods has added six CPG industry veterans to its team, including two new customer development team leaders. Peter Flesvig has been appointed as Vice President of Retail Sales, while Renee Boardway will become Global Procurement Manager.

Flesvig will work at the helm of the retail sales team, spearheading Good Foods’ expansion across North America, according to a release. He will also lead the strategy and execution of conventional, national, and mass retail partnerships.

Before joining Good Foods, Flesvig held sales leadership roles at BetterBrand and PepsiCo. Throughout his 25-year career, he has developed a robust and diverse skillset in marketing, communications, client service, and operations.

Also joining the leadership team is Boardway, who will manage the Good Foods procurement team.

Renee Boardway, Global Procurement Manager, Good Foods“Good Foods has a strong product portfolio and aggressive innovation pipeline,” said Boardway. “I’m looking forward to collaborating with our supply base to optimize and transform our product sourcing without sacrificing quality, freshness, or flavor.”

Boardway will also work closely with the Good Foods team in Mexico to find synergies and develop global strategies to streamline procurement and other business operations. Prior to working with the company, she served as the Director of Purchasing at Woodland Foods, where she spent over seven years developing strategy, conducting risk assessments, managing supplier performance and inventory, and driving cost savings.

Following double-digit company growth and a strong innovation pipeline in 2022, Good Foods has hired four additional names under Senior Vice President of Customer Development Sales Matthew Newman to continue the positive momentum. They include:

  • Jen Scheele, Regional Sales Manager
  • Melissa Dabrowski, Consumer Insights and Strategy Manager
  • Neala Aaron, Foodservice National Account Manager
  • Kalen Statz, National Account Manager for Club Sales
