KeHE Distributors Reveals CAREtrade® Partners for 2022; Laura McCord Shares
NAPERVILLE, IL - KeHE Distributors is unleashing its latest strategy to bolster up-and-coming brands. The company recently announced its new partnerships for the KeHE CAREtrade® class of 2022, an initiative that backs mission-based brands and products that are advancing and making the world a better place by giving back to communities across the globe.
“KeHE is dedicated to serving our communities and making a positive social impact globally. This incredible group of brands selected for CAREtrade 2022 demonstrate the same passions and values we have for improving the lives and helping our most vulnerable populations,” said Laura McCord, Executive Director of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility. “We’re thrilled to partner with this class, as they are making a conscious choice to serve others through their products.”
Through the CAREtrade program, KeHE works alongside like-minded suppliers and grocers to bring these mission-based brands to shoppers who are looking to connect with the products they purchase. Bridging the gap between KeHE and its philanthropic arm, KeHE Cares®, this year’s class welcomes five new brands to the program, including Heart Water, Imlak’esh Organics, Live Love Pop, Our Gorongosa, and Rishi Tea, according to a press release.
The remaining five brands—including Chickapea, KiZE, Small Axe Peppers, Teeccino, and Ziba Foods—will continue in the program for a second year and graduate in 2022.
