Paramount Citrus Launches Wonderful Halos Mandarins
Paramount Citrus, America’s largest citrus grower, is now launching its new premium California mandarin brand, Wonderful Halos, to produce aisles nationwide. The company has been shipping for about 2 weeks ago and the new item should be available across the country in distribution. TV promotions will kick off next week.
Wonderful Halos mandarins are a palm-sized sweet, seedless, and easy-to-peel fruit. Grown exclusively in California, Halos mandarins are filled with “pure goodness,” are non-GMO, and perfect for kids of all ages, according to a press release. These premium mandarins are now available in 3-pound bags, 5-pound bags, and 5-pound boxes in the produce aisle of grocery, mass, and club stores nationwide.
“Over the past few years, moms have really fallen in love with this fruit,” said David Krause, president, Paramount Citrus. “For children, it’s a healthy alternative to fatty foods like chips and cookies. Kids love the taste, and the small size and the easy ‘peel-ability’ make this different from other fruits. Halos are fun to peel and sweet to eat. This is a perfect snack for parents and their little angels.”
The new Halo brand mandarins can be found in National retailers that include Target, Kroger, Costco, Walmart and Sam’s. Major regional retailers to showcase Halos include Publix, Winn Dixie, Wegmans, Stop & Shop, United TX, Giant, Giant Eagle, Hannaford, Meijer, HEB, Jewel, Cub, Tops, and ALDI.
