SALT LAKE CITY, UT - ReposiTrak, the leader in food traceability, compliance and supply chain solutions, announced that Associated Grocers Northeast has selected the ReposiTrak Traceability Network® to launch its traceability program.

Associated Grocers Northeast, formerly Associated Grocers of New England, is a retailer-owned wholesale cooperative serving independent grocers across the Northeast. The cooperative supports its members with wholesale distribution, merchandising support, marketing services, retail programs and business resources designed to help independent retailers compete and grow.

Through the ReposiTrak Traceability Network, Associated Grocers Northeast will begin collecting, validating and managing supplier traceability data to support regulatory readiness and strengthen supply chain transparency across its supplier community. The program is designed to help AGNE and its suppliers exchange traceability records in a secure, scalable environment while reducing operational friction for both the cooperative and its trading partners.

“After evaluating the available traceability solutions, ReposiTrak stood out as the right partner for Associated Grocers Northeast,” said Joe Conley, VP of Merchandising and Procurement, in the recent release. “We were looking for more than just a technology provider—we needed a partner that could help us successfully implement traceability across our supplier network. ReposiTrak's established network, Touchless Traceability solution, and proven ability to onboard suppliers efficiently gave us confidence they could deliver. Just as important, their customer success team has the experience and resources to support suppliers throughout the process, making adoption easier for everyone involved. That combination of technology, execution, and industry expertise made them the clear choice for us.”

ReposiTrak Touchless Traceability links supplier-provided traceability records with distribution center product movement data to create required traceability events as product moves through the facility. The approach is designed to support FSMA 204 readiness while avoiding the labor, cost and operational disruption associated with manual case-level scanning.

Supplier onboarding is a critical component of traceability execution. ReposiTrak works directly with suppliers to explain requirements, establish connections, map data, provide training and resolve data issues. Suppliers with limited technical capabilities receive support from ReposiTrak’s U.S.-based onboarding and customer success teams, helping drive participation while minimizing demands on the retailer or wholesaler.

Randy Fields, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, ReposiTrak

“Traceability does not succeed because a platform exists. It succeeds when suppliers are onboarded, data is validated and records are moving at scale,” said Randy Fields, chairman and CEO of ReposiTrak. “Associated Grocers Northeast understands that execution matters. ReposiTrak combines the industry’s largest traceability network, advanced automation and a customer success organization built to get suppliers connected and productive.”

The ReposiTrak Traceability Network enables suppliers, wholesalers, distributors and retailers to exchange traceability data in a secure, scalable and standardized environment. ReposiTrak accepts multiple data formats and works directly with suppliers at every level of technical readiness. Its platform applies advanced data validation, error detection and correction processes to improve traceability record quality and reduce manual intervention.

By selecting ReposiTrak, Associated Grocers Northeast is taking a practical, execution-focused approach to traceability—one that combines regulatory readiness with supplier adoption, operational efficiency and long-term supply chain transparency.
