Avocados From Mexico To Showcase the Largest Marketing Program in the Brand’s History
Avocados From Mexico will showcase the largest national marketing program in the brand’s history at the upcoming 2013 Produce Marketing Association’s (PMA) Fresh Summit Exposition in New Orleans, LA.
Driven by the unprecedented collaboration between the Avocado Producers and Exporting Packers Association of Mexico (APEAM) and Mexican Hass Avocado Importers Association (MHAIA), the new campaign will highlight Avocados From Mexico’s new positioning and vision: moving fresh avocados from Mexico from an occasional treat to an everyday essential. The marketing program will consist of advertising, PR, retail, and foodservice support, according to a press release.
“The Fresh Summit Expo is the ideal platform for Avocados From Mexico to share the new vision and category-building programs with the trade,” said Sergio Guerrero, APEAM Chairman.
“It’s an invaluable opportunity for us to meet with retailers one-on-one and share how we are reaching new consumers with a campaign that is rooted in education, broadens usage occasions, and increases frequency of consumption,” said Ed Figueroa, MHAIA Chairman.
Booth visitors can see the new Avocados From Mexico TV spots, while enjoying recipes that highlight how avocados are an everyday essential. Menu items include a custom Guacamole Bar, Avo Sliders on Hawaiian King Rolls, and New Orleans-inspired Cajun Tacos with fresh avocado slices. In addition, the colorful and glamorous ambassador of Avocados From Mexico, Miss Ava Cado, will be returning by popular demand. She will be at the booth all weekend to greet attendees. Attendees can “flash their smile” for New Orleans-style beads and take photos with Miss Ava Cado from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Come by the booth and check out what Avocados From Mexico has in store at PMA 2013 from October 18 - 20!
