Babe Farms: Specialty Veg On Display At CPMA 2011
We caught up with Ande Manos of Babe Farms at this year's CPMA Expo in Montreal. Located in California's Santa Maria Valley, Babe Farms is a "premier" grower, packer and shipper of specialty vegetables. Among its year round harvests, they offer over 30 varieties of baby lettuces and specialty greens, colorful baby root vegetables, baby squash and baby cauliflower. "Our creative packs of specialty vegetables, signature salad blends, and baby head lettuces have been designed to fit the needs of the most discerning chefs and retailers", stated Manos. All of Babe’ Farms specialty products are hand harvested to order daily, and they offer fast delivery to customers throughout the state.
