Baloian Farms Hires Luis Corella

Baloian Farms has hired Luis Corella to head its newly-opened Nogales sales and procurement office.
Corella took the reins on April 1st, filling the role of newly created position of Sales & Procurement - Mexico Operations for Baloian Farms’ Nogales operations.
His duties will include grower relations, procurement and assisting with sales. Corella comes to Baloian Farms with years of experience in the produce industry, cultivated in his previous sales and management roles with Crown Jewels and J-C Distributing, according to a release.
“During the last year we have made significant investments in our product lineup in an effort to become a year-round supplier in the pepper category. The expansion of our Nogales operations and our commitment to our grower relationships in Mexico is a big part of those efforts.” Jeremy Lane, Sales Manager for Baloian Farms said, “Luis’s experience in the produce industry, particularly his grower relationships in Mexico are an asset to our team.”When asked about his decision to work with Baloian Farms, Corella remarked, “I have known many of the staff and family members of Baloian Farms for several years and I have much respect for their close family ties and the integrity with which they approach business relationships and quality. Corella currently resides in Nogales, AZ –his native town- with his wife and two children.
