Participants can sign up and enter to win $10,000 by offering basic information along with their goal on how they will live healthier on the company's Facebook page. Along with the generous prize, California Walnuts is asking nut lovers to take the opportunity to check out some of its fun and easy tips to live healthy.
Walnuts are the oldest tree food known to man, dating back to 7000 B.C. Walnuts are desired for their numerous health benefits, hence their trademark, Natural Defenders of the Human Body, according to the California Walnut Commission.
The sweepstakes ends on May 10, 2013 at 12:00 a.m. ET.
Anyone who wishes to enter the sweepstakes but who does not have a Facebook account can contact the board directly and will be asked to enter their name, email address and zip code.
