
Domex Superfresh Growers Offers Expertise at Washington State Horticultural Association Meeting

Domex Superfresh Growers lent a little expertise this month at the 108th annual meeting of the Washington State Horticultural Association. The event was held in Yakima, Washington December 3-5, 2012. Domex Superfresh offered its extensive knowledge with speakers/panelists for four of the education programs in addition to sponsoring the Social & Cocktail Hour Monday evening and the cherry educational session on Wednesday morning, according to a press release.

Jeff Webb, Export Sales Manager, shared his knowledge on the topic of Cherry Exports and Their Importance. Robert Kershaw, President, offered his thoughts on Rainier Cherries: This Year and its Future and Howard Nager, Vice President of Marketing discussed Retail Merchandising of the PNW Pear Crop. Frank Davis, Vice President of Business Development spoke to a group of FFA students sponsored by the Washington Agricultural Education Foundation about building and maintaining successful relationships with customers in foreign nations. Mr. Davis offered his experiences about how US producers negotiate through the potentially delicate situations that can arise.
