KINGSVILLE, ON - Double Diamond Farms is expanding its team to include a new leader, welcoming Eddie Condes as the company’s new VP of Business Development—USA. Condes will be operating out of Double Diamond’s newly expanded Nogales, AZ office.

Condes brings 25 years of global produce sales experience to his new leadership role with Double Diamond, 24 of which have been in the greenhouse industry alone. According to a press release, Condes has skills in both retail knowledge and category management, which he has garnered through various positions in industry sales. The company notes that Condes takes great pride in quality control and the procurement of quality product.

“I’ve personally known Eddie for over 20 years in this industry, so I’m very excited to have someone with his skills and experience joining our team,” shared Chris Mastronardi, CEO of Double Diamond Farms. “This gives us an opportunity to further expand our reach, which is critical to our mission of bringing the fresh flavor of greenhouse-grown produce to tables across North America.”

And Double Diamond has done much to expand its reach in recent months, adding a new organic cucumber facility in Kingsville, Ontario, that was designed to expand the company’s acreage and significantly increase organic production. With Condes joining in Nogales and the company laying groundwork in Kingsville, Double Diamond Farms looks to be well-prepared in taking on its growth plans head on.
