Duda Farm Fresh Foods' Rick Alcocer Discusses Celery Program Update
SALINAS, CA - From coast to coast, Duda Farm Fresh Foods is continuing its successful celery season to bring high-quality supplies to holiday tables nationwide. The supplier is currently at the tail end of its Salinas, California, season with Oxnard continuing. On top of this, the Florida season will be starting in mid-December.
“Cross-promoting celery with ingredients for stuffing/dressing and other traditional Thanksgiving dishes is a great way to increase sales during this holiday season,” Rick Alcocer, Senior Vice President of Sales at Duda Farm Fresh Foods, began telling me. “Also, including recipe cards or usage inspiration can encourage shoppers to add celery to their baskets.”
According to Rick, current celery volumes are normal for the company. As always, quality for Duda’s celery supply is looking good and ready to wow shoppers all season long.
Bolstering Duda’s celery program next year is a recently launched product.
“Our new celery dippers we launched at the Global Produce & Floral Show will be available starting in February,” Rick continued. “These will be PERFECT for college football bowl and Super Bowl watch parties—easy to add to dip trays and spreads without the hassle of washing, cutting, and prepping them!”
Take it from me—you definitely want to have your celery set stocked and ready to go for the winter holidays. Duda Farm Fresh Foods has you covered.
