Farmington Fresh Partners with Tajin in Cross-Promotion
Farmington Fresh, a leading supplier of fresh cut apples, recently signed a deal with Tajin International to begin a cross-merchandising campaign which will include single serve Tajin packs with single serve packs of fresh cut fruit for foodservice.
Tajin is the number one seasoning blend for fruits and vegetables and has achieved unmatched popularity in Mexico and continues to gain traction in the United States. Tajin's all-natural seasoning provides a "zing" to fruits and vegetables and amplifies the existing flavor of foods it’s sprinkled on.

"The majority of Tajin consumers use the Tajin shaker bottles (available in a 5oz. and 14.1oz.), but these are often unavailable in foodservice settings, making single serve sachets a more practical option," said Dr. Bruce Hesse PhD, General Manager of Farmington Fresh. "We continually had customers asking us if we could find an exciting solution to encourage healthier snacking and waste reduction and we are thrilled to partner with a leading brand like Tajin to achieve this goal! Including Tajin with our sliced fruit is a great way to add new excitement to the snacking experience while helping us to do our part in reducing the growing childhood obesity epidemic in the US."
Farmington Fresh will offer six SKU’s of fruit in 2-4.7 oz packs with a single serve .05 oz sachet of Low-Sodium Tajin.
The available fruits will include sliced red or green apples, sliced pears, sliced peaches & nectarines and orange wedges.
The new cross-promotion will serve to make consumers aware of Tajin's appealing pairings with these fresh produce items.
