Food Link Partners with Sun World International to Increase Traceability

Foodlink announced that Sun World International LLC will use the company’s item-level traceability solution on seedless grapes and sweet peppers produced and sold in the U.S. 
The company plans to expand to all other fruits and vegetables produced and sold in the U.S.
With over 10 million cartons of produce shipped annually, the company is one of the world’s largest growers, packers, breeders and marketers of table grapes.
FoodLink will identify product details and record information such as growing location and lot number across a range of packaging types and items, including all clamshells and bags. Consumers will then be able to scan a QR code any Sun World product to learn about its origin.
