Fresh Del Monte Reveals New Designs In Its Holiday Campaign
CORAL GABLES, FL - Bells are surely ringing as we approach 2020’s Christmas with a twist, and festivity inside of retailers—one of the few places shoppers are going these days—is more important than ever. Fresh Del Monte is filling produce departments with holiday spirit as it rolls out its all-encompassing 2020 Holiday Campaign, which includes new stickers and a video.
“We have so much exciting news to share with our consumers this holiday season,” said Pablo Rivero, Vice President of Marketing. “It is our greatest joy to be able to embrace the holiday spirit by updating our packaging in such a uniquely festive way and to highlight our sustainable pineapple program this year. 2020 has certainly been a unique year for everyone, but our team is proud of the work they have done and excited to share the results with everyone.”
The supplier’s new holiday-themed promotional packaging rolls out at retailers nationwide, adorning delicious bananas and pineapples with exciting, festive stickers. Promotional packaging for DEL MONTE® bananas, as well as the sweet Del Monte Gold® and Honeyglow® pineapples, will be on display in stores until Christmas day, according to a press release.
Expanding its efforts beyond the physical produce department, Fresh Del Monte has also revealed a new video campaign. Filmed on its farm in Costa Rica, the video features the Del Monte Gold® pineapple and brings sustainability to the forefront this holiday season, urging shoppers to enjoy sustainably cultivated pineapples.
In addition to the video and the changes to its packaging, the grower is also putting on its Santa hat and offering an exciting giveaway, where consumers create snowmen, ornament them with Fresh Del Monte products, and post them on Instagram for a chance to win coveted prizes.
As the holidays approach and many consumers look for new ways to celebrate this year, Fresh Del Monte’s new campaign could spark new traditions by blending festive and fresh.
