SANTA MARIA, CA - With extensive expertise under his belt, industry veteran Larry Narwold is stepping into his new role of Regional Sales Manager at Gold Coast Packing. Backed by experience at a variety of growers and shippers including Tanimura & Antle, Taylor Farms, Green Giant Fresh, and Mann Packing, Narwold will use his knowledge to bolster the supplier’s sales team.

“Gold Coast is a family operation, that is what drew me to the company,” said Narwold. “The atmosphere here is positive and ready to handle both new accounts and new items. I am looking forward to working with the team at Gold Coast and assisting with present and future customers.”

Narwold’s career began in independent retailing before he eventually moved to grocery wholesaling, according to a release. During that time, he supplied grocery stores as Produce Director for Wetterau Foods, SUPERVALU, and Fleming.

Rob Bertels, Vice President of Sales & Marketing commented on the recent appointment.
