DONNA, TX - As industry members prepare to gather for Texas International Produce Association’s (TIPA) Viva Fresh Expo, we’re continuing to chat with our fresh produce friends about what they have in store for attendees, and Kingdom Fresh has much to share as the supplier hits the show floor. Showcasing its entry into a new category, the provider will be highlighting its jalapeño, poblano, and anaheim peppers, along with its distinguished portfolio of tomatoes and dry vegetables.

Jaime García, General Manager, Kingdom Fresh“There is no better show than Viva Fresh!” exclaims Jaime García, General Manager. “This year’s expo feels like it’s going to have record attendance, and this will give us the opportunity to meet new people with new needs that Kingdom Fresh will be able to service. We want to deliver a strong message that we have become a one-stop shop for our customers. Logistics have significantly increased in cost, and we want to pass any efficiencies to our customers by having a wider product catalog.”

With an expanded portfolio headlining its showcase, Kingdom Fresh is gearing up to demonstrate the ways it has adapted to the ever-changing needs of the industry to continue backing its customers.

“Our industry is very competitive and has a lot of challenges, and we need to constantly adapt,” notes Jaime. “By showing our customers transparency and keeping them updated on any situation or challenge, we create a relationship that will last for many years to come. If we can demonstrate this at Viva Fresh, we will grow our relationships with grower/shippers, retailers, and foodservice providers."

One thing attendees of the show can surely look forward to is the Y-TIPA event, created specifically for TIPA members under the age of 35.

“I would like to see a strong presence in the Y-TIPA event, which is focused on young professionals entering the produce industry and allows them to learn and network with peers of the same age range. The future of our industry will rely on them sooner than we think,” Jaime concludes.
