
Mann Packing Hires New Director of Marketing and Innovation
Salinas-based Mann Packing Co. has hired Kim St. George as the company’s new director of marketing and innovation, according to The Californian.
St. George will report to Lorri Koster, company CEO. She will direct the new product development team and provide category management and consumer insights for new item innovation, while also managing various marketing and packaging projects. In addition, she will continue her produce industry activities, including participation in United Fresh’s Marketing and Merchandising Council and PMA’s Exhibitor Advisory Committee.
With more than twenty years of experience in the fresh produce industry, St. George has held a number of marketing positions at River Ranch Fresh Foods and held her most recent position as senior director of marketing at Taylor Farms-Retail. She is experienced in package design, product development and innovation, private brand management, consumer programs, consumer insights, and category management.
“We’re excited to have a professional with Kim’s level of marketing acuity join our team,” said Koster. “We’re innovating how we go to market and Kim will be a big part of our future marketing plans.”
St. George holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural and managerial economics from the University of California, Davis and a master’s of business administration from the Golden Gate University.
