SACRAMENTO, PA - The Masser Family of Companies, part of Fresh Solutions Network, is waving a collective hello to a new face joining its team. Effective March 20, 2023, Robert “Bob” Meek came on board as the company’s new Executive Vice President of Sales, leading the company’s sales strategy for its retail and foodservice businesses.

“I’m looking forward to working in a multi-faceted company where vertical integration is not just a buzz word; where sustainability is a critical component to profitability; and where I will truly be able to hone a sales approach leveraging all the existing points of differentiation available through the Masser Family of Companies,” noted Meek. “I look forward to making Masser the first call for our retail and foodservice customers.”

In his new role, Meek will report to Dave Masser, President and Chief Executive Officer, according to a release.

Before joining the Masser Family, Meek garnered 30 years of experience in the fresh produce industry at companies including Wada Farms, Category Partners, Del Monte Fresh Produce, and Potandon Produce/ Green Giant Fresh. Most recently, he was Chief Executive Officer of Onions 52.

Through these positions, Meek has achieved expertise in strategic planning, sales, marketing, organizational performance, process improvement, and supply chain management. All of which will prove useful as he becomes EVP of Sales.
