OXNARD, CA - Leveraging data and uplifting its health messaging is just one of the ways in which Mission Produce™ drives avocado sales. Through its latest initiative, the AvoIntel™ newsletter, the provider seeks to inform the industry with the latest in avocado intel.

The first newsletter spotlighted how consumers continue to rally around the health messaging surrounding avocados. According to an AvoIntel Avocado Shopper Survey, July 2023, 70 percent of consumers report that they buy avocados for the health benefits.

Retailers can capitalize on these trends in a variety of ways, such as promoting avocados as ingredient swaps, key positioning, and educating consumers on the benefits of eating avocados.
