Stemilt Growers: QR Codes Debut at Southern Exposure 2011
Rabecca Mayers, Merchandising Director for Stemilt Growers, joined us on the show floor at this year's Southern Exposure. Stemilt is focusing on QR coding for its various packaging, with an emphasis on social media and mobile marketing. "We give customers exciting information on our products with a simple click", states Myers. Stemilt has dedicated URL's that can be viewed through mobile devices that have QR readers. Once the QR code is scanned, customers can interact with online recipe information, nutritional details and even videos on their mobile devices.
