Allen Lund Company Announces Two Promotions in the Grand Rapids Office
LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA - The Allen Lund Company has been growing its program and elevating its team in leaps and bounds this year as it sets its sight on bringing continued innovation and value to customers across the fresh produce industry. Aligning with the goal is the recent promotion of Leonora Winegar as the new Manager of the ALC Grand Rapids office along with Jeff Kleyn as the new Operations Manager.
"There is no one more deserving of taking over the helm than Leonora, and with Jeff leading the sales and brokerage operations, together they will be able to take the Grand Rapids office to new heights," David Lund, Executive Vice President, shared.
Lenny Sciarappa, Vice President, added his own glowing sentiments as well, according to a press release.
"I'm confident that with Leonora's management skills and Jeff's operational leadership the office will continue to grow and have success,” he stated. “Congratulations to you both on your well-deserved promotions."
Winegar brings more than 37 years of brokerage experience LTL, TL, and managerial involvement to her role. She has worked in every department and has held several roles within the brokerage office.
"I have been in the transportation industry since 1985, so for me, taking on this new role of Manager of the Grand Rapids office is an ‘Oh my goodness’ moment. I thank The Allen Lund Company for this opportunity and as manager, I am excited to build upon the success of the Grand Rapids office,” Leonora commented. “I have worked with everyone in the office since their first day and for several in the office, we have been together since the 1990s. Kleyn started with ALC in November 2012. Kleyn has been in the brokerage industry since 1995 and received an Associates Degree at Muskegon Community College.
