LA CAÑADA FLINTRIDGE, CA – Premier transportation broker Allen Lund Company’s (ALC) Atlanta Flatbed office is assisting in ongoing efforts to rebuild Haiti. The company’s office is continuing to participate with Mission Haiti in efforts to provide building materials for the hurricane-devastated region.

"The Allen Lund Company Flatbed office is proud to have provided assistance to Mission Haiti in the transportation of the containers that will help rebuild the churches and schools affected by Hurricane Matthew,” said Chris Clelland, Manager of the ALC Flatbed office, in a company press release. “We are so happy to have a part in this wonderful cause as we have for many years."

In early January, ALC Flatbed paid to transport two 40 foot sea containers filled with lumber and nails intended to rebuild schools and churches destroyed by Hurricane Matthew. The materials were shipped on January 13 from Los Angeles.

Karl Holtsnider, Coordinator, Mission HaitiKarl Holtsnider, Mission Haiti Coordinator noted the significant contribution ALC Flatbed has made to efforts to rebuild Haiti, saying: "The lumber is going to be extremely valuable in Haiti to help rebuild after the devastating Hurricane Matthew. I can't thank you enough for all that you do for the poor of Haiti.”
