Awesome Apricots Yummy Fruit Bus makes its Debut

Great Lakes International Trading has announced their newest option for a healthy lunchbox snack: The Awesome Apricot Yummy Fruit Bus.
The Turkish apricot snack trays arrive in a school bus package to capture the kids attention, while parents feel confident offering a fruit that is high in Fiber, Vitamin A, and Potassium.
John Battle, of Great Lakes International Trading, tells AndNowUKnow, “We are trying to find a healthier alternative in this fight against childhood obesity, it’s important to look at nutritional value while appealing to an entirely different demographic.”
Arriving in six apricots per serving, the snack contains no added sugars and is naturally fat free.
Battle also tells AndNowUKnow, the school bus themed apricot idea came from children of employees within the company after their “kids were devouring them and wanted them in their lunches.”
The nine 1.4-ounce snack trays have a suggested retail price of $5.49 and will be available in stores and on the company’s website.
Great Lakes International Trading will showcase the product at this year’s PMA at booths #628 and #634.
