The company is living up to its reputation, once again, as it welcomes Frank Spagnuolo as Senior Vice President, Managing Director.

Frank brings more than 30 years of experience to his new role, with a majority of his career committed to Loblaw, where he excelled in many varied and challenging facets of the retail produce industry. Frank has held the position of Senior Category Director, Produce Procurement at Loblaw for the past 14 years, leading a team focused on enhancing both quality and strategic innovation within the produce department.

In addition, Frank has played an integral role with strategic vendor partners, building sustainable, innovative programs designed to enhance product assortment; to strengthen quality specifications; and meet merchandising plans in support of the enhancement of financial objectives, according to a press release.

The industry veteran will report directly to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Lorne Burnett, starting on the 25^th of September.

Frank’s beginnings in the industry reach back far, beginning in early childhood when he lived above his parent’s grocery store in downtown Hamilton.
