Chiquita Partners With Nutella® for New Collaboration



FORT LAUDERDALE, FL - Global provider Chiquita is spreading some sweet news that consumers will surely go bananas over. Recently, the company announced it will be teaming up with Nutella® in a new campaign. For a limited time and while supplies last, select Nutella jar lids will showcase a mouthwatering Chiquita banana bread recipe that shoppers will be eager to get their hands on.

Simple, yet effective, the two crave-worthy treats go hand in hand both on the plate and in the produce aisle. Cross-promotional opportunities await as consumers continue to look for inspiration while shopping. Chiquita is making that endeavor easier by strategically implementing co-branded secondary displays to cross-merchandise the products in different areas of the grocery store.

Throughout the month of April, Chiquita and Nutella are encouraging fans to show how they pair the brand’s bright yellow bananas with Nutella by using #ChiquitaLovesNutella on social media.

The partnership will create a plethora of cross-merchandising opportunities across the fresh produce aisles, made easier by co-branded secondary displays

According to the release, engaging step-by-step video tutorials showing how to master all-new recipes will also be shared across Chiquita’s social channels.
