Dollar General Announces First Montana Store Grand Opening; Steve Deckard Comments



COLUMBIA FALLS, MT - It’s official, Dollar General has reached all 48 continental states in the United States with its latest opening. The retailer recently announced its newest location in Columbia Falls, Montana, enabling the company to achieve this expansion goal.

With this expansion, the retailer now serves all 48 continental U.S. states, a major milestone for the company. According to a recent press release, Dollar General is currently under construction on stores in Lincoln and Sanders Counties, which are currently expected to open in fall 2023. The retailer also plans to evaluate additional areas in the Treasure State for future locations.

To celebrate this opening, Dollar General held a customer celebration event, which included gift cards and complimentary product samples to customers alongside a $10,000 literacy donation to Ruder Elementary School.
