Mayda Sotomayor, President and Chief Executive Officer, Seald Sweet“Seald Sweet was born as a Florida Citrus cooperative in 1909 and has been growing, packing, distributing, and selling fresh produce since then,” said Mayda Sotomayor, President and Chief Executive Officer, Seald Sweet. “Growing from citrus to importing a wide variety of products, we have continued to remain a leader in this evolving industry.”

Helena Fernandez, Marketing Coordinator, Greenyard USA/Seald Sweet“The most interesting thing about this new label will be that it is introduced on fully recyclable packaging. For the packaging itself, the new film and net are both made out of high-density polyethylene (HDPE). This type of plastic can be recycled through store drop-off bins, further aligning with retailer goals and responding to the consumer’s desire for solutions a bit closer to their retail brick-and-mortar homes.
