Hannaford Launches 6th Annual Design-a-Reusable-Bag Contest

Hannaford is launching its 6th annual Design-a-Reusable-Bag Contest for kids to design one of the company’s reusable bags focusing on energy conservation.
Kids ages 7 – 13 are challenged to highlight their favorite ways to save energy with a bold, colorful design and a slogan.
Winners will receive a $100 Hannaford gift card and the contestant’s drawing will appear on a reusable bag sold in all Hannaford stores. Designs will be judged on content and artistic creativity.
Rules are as follows:
• One entry per child
• Entries must be received at your local Hannaford by May 25, 2013.
• Design must be submitted on our standard form (available at
hannaford.com/bagcontest).
• Bold colors are recommended.
• Design should speak to energy conservation.
• Submissions will not be returned and will be posted in your local Hannaford for public viewing.
• One overall winner will be picked for the company and four runners-up (one from each remaining state).
• The winning design for each state will win a $100 Hannaford gift card.
• The winning design for the company and remaining states will be featured on a reusable bag and will be sold in all Hannaford stores in 2014.
