NEWARK, DE & WASHINGTON, DC - Using its prowess to boost both the supply- and buy-sides, the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA) announced its inaugural Retail Conference will be held June 9–10 at the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg, Illinois. At the exciting industry event, retailers and their supply chain partners will be able to gather and discuss insights and solutions to tap into the latest trends, marketing strategies, and technology.

Joe Watson, Retail Lead, International Fresh Produce Association“We are thrilled to have the retail community coming together in person. This is a people-to-people business. We’ve managed through the pandemic, but learning and connecting in person takes that to another level,” said IFPA’s Retail Lead, Joe Watson. “We are grateful to our presenting sponsors, Avocados from Mexico and Procurant, that make it possible for the supply chain to come together, including the usual multi-region, multinational chains as well as regional retail banners like Schnucks, Longo’s, Gelson’s, Trig’s, and Food Lion.”

The conference will feature learning sessions, networking opportunities, and a golf tournament to bring retail industry members together, a press release explained.
