Kroger and Gatik Celebrate Successful Autonomous Trucking Operations; Ben Hamilton and Gautam Narang Share



MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA - Gatik and Kroger recently announced the launch of their collaboration, something that has been in the works for years now. The launch will see Gatik’s autonomous box trucks transporting fresh, customer-favorite products from Kroger’s state-of-the-art Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) in Dallas, Texas.

With Gatik’s autonomous box trucks, we are able to be quicker with our deliveries, and focus more on the customer service side of things, which ultimately leads to happier customers and repeat customers.”

For eight months now, Gatik has made delivery runs multiple times per day, seven days per week across Kroger’s Dallas distribution network.

As Kroger works to provide a seamless shopping experience, these operations have gotten more proficient at speed, responsiveness, and frequency of fulfilling Kroger e-commerce orders.
