SALINAS, CA – Mann Packing is partnering with Bacon Magic in honor of the Canada 150 celebrations—a four-day series of events including National Aboriginal Day (June 21), Saint-Jean-Baptiste (June 24), Canadian Multiculturalism Day (June 27), and Canada Day (July 1). The two companies have put together a Canada Day Entertaining Guide and launched two new Canadian-specific recipe videos for the occasion.

“The 150th anniversary celebration gives us a unique opportunity to showcase our products and play a part in bringing Canadians together around the holiday,” said Gina Nucci, Director of Corporate Marketing, in a company press release. “Through these promotions, we hope to enable conversations about healthy eating and the Half Your Plate initiative in Canada.”

The company also launched two new videos. The first video is focused on grilling with Mann’s Nourish Bowls and the versatility of the award-winning product line, featuring an easy-to-prepare, protein-packed meal.

The company also launched a video highlighting Mann’s Stringless Sugar Snap Peas. In a press release, Mann’s noted that the company's snap peas are Canada’s bestselling sugar snap peas, perfect as a crunchy and nutritious summer snack, served as a chip alternative, and delicious straight out of the bag, dipped in hummus, or served with Greek tzatziki.

To further promote the holiday, Mann’s and Bacon Magic have sponsored a Canada Day Entertaining Guide. The partnership hopes the guide will serve as a one-stop shop for Canada Day entertaining and a useful guide for consumers. Additionally, the guide includes a list of Mediterranean based recipes using fresh vegetables, including a Chili Lemon Mint Sugar Snap Peas recipe.
