Mastronardi Produce® Celebrates Global PAC Awards Wins; Paul Mastronardi Comments

KINGSVILLE, ONTARIO, CANADA - We eat with our eyes first and foremost. Mastronardi Produce® brings that adage to life with its most recent wins, spotlighting how important branding is when getting fresh items into the consumer basket. The greenhouse grower collected four awards at the prestigious PAC Global Awards. With five nominations across multiple categories, Mastronardi Produce was among the top-nominated brand owners.

The PAC Global Awards celebrate excellence in package brand design and innovation. Mastronardi Produce and its brands were prominent features of the Fresh category at the awards, taking home both of the Best in Class awards given out in the category for its Queen of Greens® Salad Kits and SUNSET® Angel Sweet® & Dip and Qukes™ & Dip Club Packs.

Mastronardi Produce also received two Awards of Distinction: one for SUNSET® WOW® Berries in Brand Revitalization and another for Queen of Greens® Salad Kits in Brand Extension.

Mastronardi Produce® collected four awards across its product portfolio at the PAC Global Awards

As the company explained, the winning products are part of a long lineage of brand success stories for Mastronardi Produce. In 1995, the company launched Campari® to make a unique cocktail tomato variety stand out among bulk no-name produce. This would become a tipping point for the greenhouse operator, as it now holds a robust portfolio of internationally recognized products creating new benchmarks for marketing in the produce industry.

For Mastronardi Produce, this marks 19 PAC Global Awards in 12 years. The awards program this year received a record-breaking number of submissions with hundreds of entries hailing from 42 countries and scored by 104 expert judges.
