OXNARD, CA - Not one, not two, but five hearty congratulations are in order as Mission Produce has revealed a slew of senior leadership appointments. First, the avocado and mango supplier revealed that Cheryl Hoefs has joined its team as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Cheryl Hoefs, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Mission ProduceAs SVP of Sales and Marketing, Hoefs will oversee Mission’s business development, retail, foodservice, and wholesale programs in the United States as well as international export sales, a press release explained. Hoefs is also responsible for the leadership and development of the sales and marketing teams, ensuring its culture embodies Mission’s core values of Fun, Innovative, Reliable, Successful, and Trustworthy.

Hoefs brings nearly three decades of experience in business development, marketing, and team leadership, previously holding senior-level sales positions at companies including Sabra Dipping Company, The Kellogg Company, Acosta, and PepsiCo. She has a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Saint Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Marketing from the Ohio State University.

In addition to this appointment, Brooke Becker, Patrick Cortes, and Hector Soltero have been promoted to Vice President positions within the sales department, and Roberto Rodriguez has been named Director of International Exports.
